It has achieved LEED Gold Certification, making it the first completed LEED Gold project for new construction in downtown Houston.

Guy Hagstette is your tour guide. He’s been obsessed with making this park a reality for all Houstonians. You couldn’t ask for a better host. Guy is a native Houstonian. And proud of it. He’s the President of the Discovery Green Conservancy. And proud of that, too.
Guy was a key player in the redevelopment of Downtown Houston. He lives in Downtown Houston – just a stone’s throw from his beloved Discovery Green.
He can’t wait to tell you all the cool things about the park. Seriously. He’s excited.
